The backbone of Commit is comprised of an eclectic mix of people who are passionate about their work and charged with a mission to make Commit the best in every way they can. The professional range varies from MBA graduates to marketing professionals, but the common denominator that sets them apart is their level of commitment and the success they have brought to Commit.
K. Narssimhan
CEO, Founder, Managing Director
It had to take an enormous level of confidence and belief in oneself to turn one's most cherished dream into a vivid reality. Narssimhan was the only employee in Commit when it started as a fledgling documentation services provider. However, it was his integrity, belief and charisma that led him to slowly take on talented, young people and turn them into sincere and committed employees. Commit now has more than 60 employees spread over its various branches and this has been possible, because Narssimhan has always managed to infuse his enthusiasm and confidence into all his employees.
A graduate in Physics, with an MA in Ancient Indian History, with an MBA from IIM thrown in for good measure, Narssimhan has had a diverse educational background that only adds to the various facets of his personality. Thirteen years spent in the industry have imbued him with confidence and clarity. He has gained experience in training, technical writing, hardware maintenance, software selling/programming and troubleshooting by providing services for various Indian companies. He has worked with leading companies like Rabobank International, Iflex, MphasiS, Roamware, Philips, and Blue Star Infotech as a Senior Technical Writer.
George Abraham
Chief Learning Officer
George Abraham, director at Commit is one of the few men whose sense of purpose and calm manner exude confidence and make him extremely approachable. George joined Commit in 2002, and has worked his way up in the organization, becoming indispensable to Commit ever since. George started his career in Commit with various projects at Mumbai that were executed with panache and were met with a lot of success. In Bangalore, he took over as Regional Manager, and worked towards creating a strong footprint in the documentation sphere in India’s very own Silicon Valley.
Armed with his BSc in Electronics degree and an MBA in Finance, George infused his enthusiasm into all the projects that he undertook with Commit. George has been responsible for creating sustained relationships with some of the biggest names in the IT sector, who are our clients, such as Accenture, Scandent, Honeywell, Misys etc. One of Commit’s most significant achievements is the rapid expansion and success of Bangalore as a Commit center. Today, Bangalore has grown into one of Commit’s largest centers. George’s enthusiasm and dedication are one of the reasons for this overwhelming success.
Brijesh Nambiar
Chief Operating Officer
Brijesh joined Commit in 2003 and quickly assimilated himself into the organization. He can be considered to be Commit’s man-at-arms as he is always ready to tackle any situation that has gone even slightly out of sorts. As Chief Operating Officer, Brijesh is responsible for understanding and maintaining the status quo at a consistent and dependent level.
A graduate in B.E. Electrical, Brijesh has worked diverse domains in Commit. The client list he has worked for include BSIL(Mumbai), Zycus (Mumbai), Netkraft (Bangalore), Lifetree (Bangalore), Misys (Bangalore), Excelsoft (Mysore), C2Silicon (Bangalore), HealthAsyst (Bangalore), MCube (Bangalore), Telsima (Bangalore), Comat (Bangalore), Interlink (Pune) and the list goes on. The client list also goes to show that Brijesh is one of the few Commitians who has worked for Commit in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune successfully.
However, apart from adding to this impressive client list, Brijesh is now managing the Mumbai center very well, helping it grow at a steady pace. His dedication and determination are paying off in forging Commit as a strong contender for India’s leading documentation services provider.
Zakirah Ataullah
Documentation Architect
Zakirah Ataullah took on varied roles in Commit, until she was appointed Documentation Architect. Zakirah has worked on important projects with Roamware, Epoch, Zycus, Iflex, ZTE, CMC, and Cognizant. Following her BSc degree in Computer Applications and Mathematics, she joined Commit as a technical writer in 2002. Her passion for perfection emerged when she was handed over the arduous and often tedious job of doing QA for the documents that were written by technical writers. Her eagle eye has spotted numerous errors in formatting, font discrepancies and other such things that are the stuff of nightmares for technical writers! Zakirah is now Documentation Architect at Commit, performing a job that involves designing document templates, creating guidelines, building template repositories and deciding on various other minutiae of the actual documentation.
K. Kannan
Regional Manager
At Commit, we do not believe in typecasting people, and yet the image of the strong and silent ‘type’ suits Kannan to the T. Kannan has been with Commit from 2003 when he started working as a technical author. An MA graduate, Kannan has donned various roles with ease, and has now moved into the position of regional manager, Chennai.
Chennai as a center shows a lot of potential and Kannan has been present at every step of the way, ensuring that projects are executed faultlessly. The hugely successful HCL project proved that Commit was set to make its mark in Chennai as a worthy documentation partner. Since then, we have been involved in some exciting and challenging projects with Servion, Microbase, Bay Talkitec, Datacraft, Synaptris, and VSNL.
